A visit to Isla Gigantes isn’t complete without dropping by the famous Pawikan Cave. Named for the huge turtle-shaped stones at the heart of the cave, various rock formations form the center of attraction for tourists. Exploring the inside of the cave will bring visitors to numerous cave chambers lit up by openings hundreds of feet high up.

Getting to the cave requires a steep hike, but the otherworldly feel of entering the cave is its own reward. Read More: http://www.rappler.com/life-and-style/travel/shareph/iloilo/75395-shareiloilo-pawikan-cave-isla-gigantes

Now, the “Pawikan eggs” are gone with extensive dug up holes at the site. But the place was still wonderful despite of that.
