Lubi-Lubi sa Glan is a dance festival extolling the many uses of the coconut in homage to Sta. Catalina de Alexandria held in Gian, Sarangani Province every Octover 8th. It shows that there is more to the coconut than just copra. Coconut by-product such as accessories, home decors and the famous coconut juice liquor locally known as “bahalina” are showcase during the event. Street dancing competition with dancers wearing costumes adorned with coconut materials highlights the event.

The triumphant Notre Dame of Glan Lubi-Lubi street dancers grooving to the beat of the mixed drum-and-bamboo ensemble rhythmic instruments during Glan’s 15th Lubi-Lubi Festival staged as a prelude to the Sangdaan sa Glan Street Dance Competition, a region-wide bring your festival concept, in time with the Grand Centennial Celebration of Glan on October 8.
