The resort is in the middle of a green lawn with palm trees. It has a pleasant Mediterranean look with immaculate white walls contrasting with the capiz windows and nipa roof. Coral Beach Club is the resort closest to Manila with a white sand beach, albeit artificial, the Matabungkay Beach. It is frequented primarily by golfers. It was launched by the owners of Lago de Oro Beach Club and was passed on several years ago to its current owners, Canadian Michael Hudson, an avid golfer and his Filipina wife, Carla. Michael created a golf club and organizes competitions every weekend. The Calatagan Golf Club is only 15 minutes away from the resort.
