INTERESTING DESTINATIONS

Camarines Norte is mostly off the traveler’s list mainly because of a scarcity in local tourism promotion. This means that it is not overrun by throngs of tourists. The visitor would be able to have a good feel of the local culture and its many beautiful places not commonly advertised. What it lacks in tourist numbers it makes up for with the numerous beautiful destinations for those with spirits that are hungry for adventure.

Mampurog River is located in San Lorenzo Ruiz, Camarines Norte. Mampurog River is the most popular river in the province because of its crystal-clear water, long-span hanging bridge and with lush foliage inherent in the place. Best of all the place is well visited because of its proximity in the capital town of Daet.

This river is wide with clear and deep cold water, a nice place to wade in and explore. It is a very popular choice for swimming, excursions and picnics during summer.  Read More:  http://greedypeg.org/camarines-norte/Mampurog-River.html

Apuao Grande Island

On the approach to the island, a serene long stretch of fine sand, pine trees and glassy waters will spell paradise.  I got stunned by the picturesque view made me more thrilled to beach bum and traipse by the shore. It is like the Anawangin/Nagsasa Cove in Zambales but waaaaaaay better version, perfect for beach camping and bumming away from the crowds and hustle and bustle of the metro.

Things here are as simple and laidback as it gets. Island visitors are advised to bring their own food, drinks and other camping necessities. You may also opt to rent beach huts and thrifty rooms for more comfortable stay. But our group just pitched tents, put up beach hammocks and mats.  Read More:  http://thebackpackersadventures.blogspot.com/2015/05/mercedes-group-of-island-apuao-grande.html
