Mt. Apo Highland Resort is located in Kapatagan Valley in Davao Region. It is a preferred destination of Mt. Apo trekkers as well as people who wish to have some respite from the busy life. The resort offers a breath taking view of Mt. Apo, the highest mountain peak in Philippines from the resort is one of highlights when you visit this place.

Kapatagan valley is just two hour drive from Davao City. The resort provides private transport facility for its guests however public transportation is frequently available from Digos terminal to the destination. The resort is designed to match the needs of guests who like outdoor tours, camps and adventure. It is also a perfect avenue for corporate meets, team building, family bonding and for honeymoon destination for couples too.

Mt. Apo Highland resort has two main sections. One is a two part resort complex; Mirror Lake and Hill side. Mirror Lake is a scenic attraction specially designed for those who like trekking. Camp houses are located in this area. Each room can accommodate up to 4 guests, provided with camp grounds and bonfire pit as well as a kitchen for cooking. But there’s nothing like spending more time here to really immerse in the place, especially when you check-in at the Mt. Apo Highland Resort, a laid-back mountain retreat with both hillside and lakeside cottages for your restless soul to settle in.

The Hillside area of the resort has cozy cabins built on stilts along a slope. This is the more convenient place to stay (compared to the lakeside area) because of the adjacent restaurant that serves affordable Filipino combo meals (PHP 130) and short orders (PHP 200 to 300). We loved their lechon kawali!  There’s no need for AC here with the cool mountain air at 1,160 meters above sea level. Relax in your private cottage with double bed or dormitory-style accommodation and sweeping views of the misty highlands of Mt. Apo Natural Park outside your balcony.

The resort’s hillside cabins are PHP 2,000 per night (plus 10% service charge), good for two to four persons.   Read More:  https://eazytraveler.net/2016/03/mt-apo-highland-resort-kapatagan-review/

For those who love nature and the outdoors, Mt. Apo Highland Resort is the perfect adventure. Now known as Camp@Tagan Lake Mirror and Hillside, it is located in the uphill portion of Kapatagan in Digos City, Davao del Sur. The Resort is owned by Philip Dizon, who brought us Davao Crocodile Park, and Maxima Aqua Fun, Davao Butterfly House, and many more . . .

Mount Apo Highland Resort is actually a two-part mountain resort complex: the lower level portion is set against a natural cold spring pool called Lake Mirror; and a campsite perched in a hilltop called Hillside, both of which provide a picturesque view of Kapatagan and Mount Apo – the Philippines’ highest mountain peak and home to the King of the Philippine Sky, the great Philippine Eagle.

The Resort is a popular destination for families, groups of friends, corporate outings, team building activities, and a perfect getaway from the noisy urban life. Here, one may relax and be one with nature, and experience outdoor adventure. Facilities for swimming, fishing, boating, horseback riding, and mountain trekking are readily available. Food may be catered at the new Mount Apo Highland Restaurant where a variety of locally prepared food is offered, and of course their famous Mount Apo Civet Coffee. Guests may also bring their own food.  Read More:  http://davaocitybybattad.blogspot.com/2012/05/mount-apo-highland-resort.html
