UKKALONG / OCCALONG FALLS
Photo from: www.pictures.mymapsof.com
The lush sight of the Ukkalong Falls complete with the crystal clear waters streaming brings forth High School memories alive again. A very special spot in our hearts. Lester and I have come to visit the falls frequently during our teenage years together with friends. In one’s mind it elicits the image of tranquility in all forms. By tricycle, it will be travelled for less than 2 hours. After, the hike towards the falls is such a sweet sorrow for the narrow paths make it so frustrating at times. The trailing river is one great adventure with peaceful nature’s beauty enfolds right before your eyes. Trees seem to reach the skies as the cold air caresses your face. It is one the most memorable place we have been into.
