In old sections of Manila like Intramuros, the old walled  city and Chinatown, clip-clopping horse-drawn carriages pick their way through  traffic. Glass and concrete towers rise side-by-side with Spanish colonial  houses and neo- classical government buildings. Dragon arches, gold-domed  mosques and elaborately-styled mansions define the enclaves of the Chinese, the  Mos Intramuros Walled city of Intramuros is Manila’s richest remote  location when it comes to culture and history. Inside the walls, you can  experience the pre-Hispanic era, all the way through Spanish colonization and  Japanese occupation and insurgency. Fort Santiago and Jose Rizal Shrine national hero’s life story through the relics and artifacts. San Agustin Church  and Museum features the life of the Philippines and how it evolved over the  centuries.

The most popular outdoors in Manila is Rizal Park, aka  Luneta Park.  Rizal Park is the main  recreation center in the city, a green sanctuary in the heart of the bustling  city; housing Chinese and Japanese gardens, as well as museums and  fountains.  Once you step inside—away  from the crazy traffic and crowds of the streets—you’ll feel like you’ve  entered another world. You’ll have to work your way through the crowds  picnicking and playing (and practicing their tai chi) throughout the park, but  definitely visit the Chinese gardens and the adjacent Japanese gardens.

The CCP Complex

Photographers, both amateur and  professional, can be found along the Manila Bay as the afternoon turned into  evening in a dramatic explosion in the red and orange.

Once night falls, you can find a variety of restaurants  and bars around the area, with the option to customize every palate. You can  even dare to the nearest red light district Malate Manila to experience more  interesting.
