Lanao del Norte, officially the Province of Lanao del Norte, is a province in the Philippines located in the Northern Mindanao region. Its capital is Tubod.

The province borders Lanao del Sur to the southeast, Zamboanga del Sur to the west, Illana Bay to the southwest, Iligan Bay to the north, Iligan City to the northeast, and is separated from Misamis Occidental by Panguil Bay to the northwest. According to the 2015 census, the province has a total population of 676,395 people.

Situated in Lanao del Norte is the highly urbanized city of Iligan, which is governed independently from the province.

Lanao del Norte is a rugged province that ranges from the coastal shorelines in the north to the high plateaus and mountains in the south. It has also diverse flora and fauna.

Lanao Del Norte is famous for the city of majestic waterfalls, Iligan. Cagayan De Oro is the nearest airport. Lanao Del Norte attracts a large number of tourists only because of the city Iligan. Following the natural divide of the Lanao mountain range, the old Lanao was broken in two provinces: Lanao del Norte and Lanao del Sur. Today, Lanao del Norte has become one of the top vacation destinations in the southern part of the Philippines, and for a good reason.

Lanao del Norte continues its effort in uplifting the quality of life of its people, both in the urban and rural areas through the promotion of its Integrated Agriculture and Economics Tourism Development Programs. These plans aim to create conditions that will improve the economy of the province, which can be achieved by promoting the tourism industry. This will pave the way for trade and economic development as well as beneficial interactions between Lanao del Norte and its outlying municipalities and neighboring provinces. Because of this, the government is putting in a lot of effort to make sure that every tourist will have the best time in the province.
