BEACHES, RESORTS AND DIVE SITES
Batangas has some great beaches which are perfect for children. Some have a stretch of shallow water that gently tapers off for nearly 600 feet, making it ideal for swimming and splashing around. Others have a nicely developed scene with plenty of water sports equipment for hire and boating excursions. Most of the rest of the beaches are pretty and some have decent coral gardens ideal for snorkelling.
Whatever kind of beach experience you want can be found in Batangas. The coastline of this province has quiet, secluded stretches of sand as well as more developed areas with resorts and water sports.
Gerthel Beach

Located in the town of Lobo, Gerthel Beach is one of the finest beaches of the area. The approximately one kilometer stretch of white sand beach has gradually sloping ocean floor to about two hundred meters before the drop-off. A beach resort that also serves as an accommodation facility also exists.
Caban Cove

The Caban Cove dive site is fairly sheltered. There are exotic coral formations, plenty of small tropical fish and an interesting small drop-off that goes down in a graduated “steps”. This is a good choice for shallow dives.
Fuego Point

Fuego Point is a drift dive over boulder strewn bottom venturing onto a wall with a quite spectacular well stocked aquarium window. Three different sharks species have been reported by a number of divers.
