There are several resorts to stay for a vacation in Biliran. But I chose to stay in Agta Beach Resort. It is located in Talahid Beach in Almeria, Biliran and is the jump-off to several island hopping destinations in the province that includes Sambawan, Maripipi, Dalutan, Capinahan and Higatangan. It also has an easy access to diving spots that makes it a haven for underwater adventure enthusiasts. Agta Beach Resort has a close proximity to other tourist spots including the Iyusan Rice Terraces and Ulan-ulan Falls.

Agta Beach Resort quietly opened in the early 1980s after retired public school teachers Mesyong and Pesing Sabitsana welcomed guests to their little piece of paradise.
