Hagimit Falls is one of the must-see places in the Island Garden City of Samal.

Although it is not as spectacular as those waterfalls that I have chased thus far, Hagimit Falls has its unique charm that has gravitated tourists and travelers alike to pay a visit.

Hagimit Falls is composed of several smaller tiers and segmented waterfalls which naturally provide pools, perfect fit for swimming and wading. Read More: http://harrybalais.com/2013/02/chasing-waterfalls-hagimit-falls/

Hagimit Falls is located in Peñaplata, Island Garden City of Samal (ICAGOS). Although this attraction is within the province of Davao Del Norte, most of the tourists arrive via Davao City. That should not come as a surprise considering its (Hagimit’s) relative distance (more accessible) from Sasa Wharf, which is the main port that brings people to Samal Island.

Hagimit Falls is not a usual waterfall. The enchanted Hagimit Falls is steadily becoming a popular tourist attraction in Davao Del Norte. It is located in barangay Cawag, Peñaplata, the capital district of Samal Island.

Hagimit Falls is a series of small cascades and streams featuring natural swimming pools and rock formations. The area is hushed and secluded so you can get away from the bustling city life. There are no shopping malls, restaurants, and hotels that can be an eyesore when you’re exposed too much to the metro. Here, you can relax and release all your stress. It’s just you and nature!   Read More:  https://www.vigattintourism.com/tourism/articles/Hagimit-Falls
