BEST PLACES IN NORTHERN SAMAR

The natural beauty of Northern Samar  has a lot of tourism potentials that are still undiscovered and unknown to many tourists.

Taking a tour of the islands is a great way to get a feel for the local history and culture. There are plenty of scenic spots to discover, such as the enchanting rock formation, incredible waterfalls and hot spring, sandy beaches and coral reefs, famous old churches, clear rivers, caves, virgin forests and many other secret places. The three secret places are the islands of Biri, Capul and Dalupiri, all off the coast of Northern Samar. Remote and desolate, and definitely off the normal tourist track, Northern Samar is a province which evokes powerful images and untouched beauty.  Read More:  http://www.lets-go-philippines.com/exploring-northern-samar-and-some-of-its-beautiful-places/

The Philippines is truly gifted with outstanding places that can make your travel experience memorable, relaxing, and amazing. There are some places in the Philippines that you can’t find anywhere else in the world.

We have virgin islands, pristine falls, caves, rock formations, and other tourists spots that can attract foreigners. One of which is the Sila Island in Northern Samar.

Sila Island is one of the seven islands that compose the island-municipality of San Vicente Northern Samar. These islands are the boast of white sand beaches, but Sila island has its own uniqueness. The sand in the island is pinkish.  Read More:  http://evlearners.com/pink-beach-northern-samar/

Dalupiri Island

Dalupiri Island is just off the western coast of Samar Island at the south end of the San Bernardino Strait. The island’s white beaches are considered an “undisturbed paradise” and future “premier tourist destination” in the Eastern Visayas region.

Dalupiri Island lies in the east central periphery of the Philippine archipelago. It is bounded by San Bernardino Strait in the north an …

d east, Samar Sea in the south, and Capul Island in west. It is approximately 5 nautical miles from the Pacific Ocean and sits near the entrance along the Paso de Acapulco, otherwise known as San Bernardino Strait. It has 28 kilometres long white sand beach around the island.

Dalupiri Island is a 2,700 hectare island of gently rolling hills, mostly of coconut vegetation and shrubbery. It is home to white beaches, caves, and the Lagbangan Lake.

Because of Dalupiri Island’s pristine white sand beach, in May 2007, San Antonio, together with the island towns of Biri, Capul, and San Vicente, were declared as eco-tourism zones. With its coral reefs, Dalupiri island is ideal for scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, yachting, jet skiing, para-sailing and marine life observation.  Read More:  https://greedypeg.org/northern-samar/Dalupiri-Island.html

Onay Beach

Locals call this place Onay Beach. The prized possession of Brgy. Onay (Doña Luisa), this golden beach is the most popular swimming spot in the island of Laoang, located a couple of minutes off the coast of the north-eastern tip of Northern Samar. Blanketed in a glowing mixture of white, black, and brown grains, Onay Beach reflects the afternoon sun and glitter as if the sand is golden.

Onay Beach is a long, long stretch, with one side fringed with thick vegetation and the other soaked in turquoise water. As I stood at the mouth of the main access point in the middle of the cove, I could hardly see its north end, seemingly disappearing in the droplets that the waves spray into the air.  Read More:  https://www.thepoortraveler.net/2012/08/suicide-beach-onay-beach-laoang-northern-samar/
